During my time working for the Bruce Gallery, I was asked to design a poster for an event held on Edinboro University’s campus called ALOHA. The challenge I faced with this design was to create something that would not only serve as a promotional tool but also act as a decorative piece. I was able to create a colorful and eye-catching design that effectively promoted the event while conveying all the necessary information.
This poster was a great exercise in balancing practicality with creativity. I utilized a strong grid layout to ensure that, despite the vibrant colors and designs, the poster remained easy to navigate and clearly communicated all of its important information.
